Softball Recap: Langtree Charter Lions vs. Mountain Island Charter Raptors        
        
		
            
 Langtree Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They suffered a  tough 21-2 defeat at the hands of the Mountain Island Charter Raptors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Langtree Charter of the  15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.
 Langtree Charter saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reese Horton, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI. Horton is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jessie James, who  got on base  in all two of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases.
 Langtree Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mountain Island Charter, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.
 Langtree Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln Charter at 4:00  p.m.  on April 9th. As for Mountain Island Charter, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pine Lake Prep at 5:00  p.m.  on April 9th.
