Soccer Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Piedmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marvin Ridge Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Marvin Ridge this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in September.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-4. As for Marvin Ridge, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Piedmont is set to take on their familiar foe Cuthbertson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marvin Ridge will face off against rival Weddington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
