Softball Recap: The Linsly School Takes a Loss

The Linsly School lost against Martins Ferry last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cadets fell 6-3 to the Purple Riders.

Alyssa Heath made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kimber Kotson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

The Linsly School now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Martins Ferry, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Linsly School will venture away from home to face off against Morgantown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Martins Ferry, they will head out to take on St. Clairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
