Volleyball Recap: Olpe Takes Down South Haven in a Playoff Battle

Olpe extended their postseason success on Tuesday against South Haven. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Olpe was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up seven kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 13 assists. Steinke also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Gaby Coughlin, each putting up two.

Olpe's victory bumped their record up to 26-12. As for South Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 8-26-3.

Olpe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Canton-Galva on the 21st. South Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
