Volleyball Recap: Page Pirates vs. Southeast Guilford Falcons
Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Guilford Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 14-25, 25-16.
Despite the loss, Page saw an underclassman step up: Baylor Wilson had ten digs and 15 assists.
Page's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Southeast Guilford, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Page and Northwest Guilford are set to duel on Monday. Northwest Guilford will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Page surely won't give up without a fight. Southeast Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
