Basketball Recap: St. Patrick's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

St. Patrick dropped to 6-6 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Bryant Hurricanes, falling 59-37. The Fighting Irish were down 50-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Several Fighting Irish players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexandrea Patino, who posted 15 points. Anna Gollott was another key player, putting up ten points.

As for Bryant, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Madi-Marie Grayson was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-18 en route to 28 points along with five boards and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mari-Margret Grayson, who shot 54% from the field to rack up 16 points.

St. Patrick has already played their next contest, a 39-19 win against Gautier on the 4th. As for Bryant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-58 victory against Pass Christian on the 5th.
