After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winston-Salem Christian National, the Lab University Prep Lab Rats were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Westminster Catawba Christian by a score of 82-74. Given Lab University Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 16th in North Carolina, while Westminster Catawba Christian is ranked 116th in South Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Christian Aukuso continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. DeMarco Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Lab University Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, they dropped their record down to 20-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
