Volleyball Recap: Bear River Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Bear River entered their tilt with Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fire Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Bear River might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning scored at least 11 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 23-25, 15-11.

Kyle Smith paced Bear River's offense, picking up 24 kills. Smith got some help from Ethan Tucker and his 42 assists. Justyce Johnson and Asher West kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
