Christian Brothers is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Rio Americano on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 24-21. Christian Brothers' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gunnar Marsh, who picked up 95 receiving yards and two TDs, and Deakon Holden, who threw for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
While Christian Brothers came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Rio Americano: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 38.9%. Christian Brothers' record is now 1-9. As for Rodriguez, their record now sits at 3-7.

Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: Marsh and Charles. Marsh just won't slow down this season and has caught 16 touchdowns while averaging 103.6 receiving yards per game. Charles has been a dominant force too and has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 99.9 rushing yards per game.
Everything went Christian Brothers' way against Rodriguez in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, as Christian Brothers made off with a 42-20 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Mustangs' Bentley Williams, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs, and also caught one touchdown.
