Baseball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon lost against Midland two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Midland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Lisbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midland, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 defeat against North Linn on the 8th.
