Baseball Recap: Monroe Gets the Win

Monroe won the last time they faced Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Eagles. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly three runs.

The win made it two in a row for Monroe and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Monroe will welcome Cincinnati Country Day at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
