MCC entered their tilt with Unity Christian Academy on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Phoenix. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

MCC easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

MCC's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Unity Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coming up, MCC will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against North Shore Country Day at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will square off against College Prep of America at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
