Dylan Lair posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
