Baseball Recap: Pro Stock Royals Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ocean City

While Pro Stock Royals Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Ocean City Raiders on Saturday as Pro Stock Royals Academy made off with a 13-4 win. The Royals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Zac Parenteau was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Miller, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Pro Stock Royals Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Pro Stock Royals Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ocean City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Pro Stock Royals Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Charlotte S on the 25th. As for Ocean City, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Ocean City's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
