Basketball Recap: Columbus Victorious

Columbus hadn't done well against Highland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Columbus Wildcats walked away with a 53-46 win over the Highland Huskies. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 45-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Highland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Winfield-Mt. Union the next time they take the court. Highland will head out to face Winfield-Mt. Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Columbus will host them at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th.
