Scott entered their tilt with Monterey on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over the Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-21 back in November of 2025.

Monterey's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haylee Trevathan, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was MacKenzie Vester, who scored eight points and five boards.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Monterey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-23 record this season.

Scott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-38 defeat against Campbell County on the 14th. Monterey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
