Basketball Recap: Franklin Panthers vs. East Henderson Eagles
Franklin lost against East Henderson back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Franklin Panthers took a 58-42 bruising from the East Henderson Eagles. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Franklin's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max McClure, who posted 14 points along with eight boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was William Rauers, who earned 12 points and six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Franklin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Henderson only six offensive rebounds.

Brewer's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for East Henderson, the win keeps them at an undefeated 26-0.
