Basketball Game Preview: Pasadena Eagles vs. West Fork Gators

The Pasadena Eagles will head out to take on the West Fork Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Fork took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pasadena, who comes in off a win.

Pasadena will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 20-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Crosby, sneaking past 59-57. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 702nd, while the Cougars are ranked 325th).

Meanwhile, West Fork lost to Kingwood Park on the road by a 60-46 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

West Fork now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Pasadena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season.

Pasadena came up short against West Fork when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 66-58. Can Pasadena avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
