Basketball Recap: Norfork Beats Maynard for Their Third Straight Victory

Norfork had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 61-35 margin over the Maynard Tigers. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Norfork's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Maynard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Norfork will challenge Mammoth Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maynard has already played their next contest (against Corning), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
