Baseball Game Preview: Navajo Prep Eagles vs. West Las Vegas Dons

For the second straight game, Navajo Prep will face off against West Las Vegas. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Dons at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Navajo Prep has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Navajo Prep heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They lost 11-0 to West Las Vegas. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the seven matches prior), but the Dons' pitchers proved too tough.

Navajo Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jashyro Bileen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Bileen has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.

The win made it two in a row for West Las Vegas and bumps their season record up to 17-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Navajo Prep, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-14.
