Volleyball Recap: McPherson Takes a Loss

McPherson was the 2-0 winner over Andale when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bullpups took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Tuesday. The Bullpups have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McPherson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Andale work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 29-27.

Among those leading the charge was Kate McHatton, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high.

McPherson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Andale, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, McPherson and Buhler will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday. As for Andale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mulvane on the 2nd.
