Basketball Recap: Woodinville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Issaquah last Tuesday, Woodinville came back down to earth. The Woodinville Falcons fell 64-57 to the Bishop Blanchet Bears on Friday. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodinville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bishop Blanchet, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Woodinville and Bishop Blanchet should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Woodinville (ranked 23rd) will meet Prairie (ranked 103rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Bishop Blanchet will take on Juanita at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday up 208 places (58 vs. 266).
