The Master's Academy Eagles will face off against the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Master's Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
Master's Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pine Ridge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Master's Academy was the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over Pine Ridge on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Reagan Peri made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero hits, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.
In other batting news, Isa Moya was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lauren McMeel, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Master's Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Lake Highland Prep lost 16-1 to Orangewood Christian on Tuesday. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake Highland Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alina Shaikh, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Master's Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lake Highland Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Lake Highland Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Master's Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lake Highland Prep, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Master's Academy keep running through batters, or will Lake Highland Prep buck the trend?
Master's Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Highland Prep in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-2. Will Master's Academy repeat their success, or does Lake Highland Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
