Softball Preview: Kiski Area Cavaliers vs. Gateway Gators
Kiski Area is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will look to defend their home field against the Gateway Gators at 4:30 p.m. Kiski Area has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Kiski Area fell victim to Knoch and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 11-0. The Cavaliers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Kiski Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyla Hutcherson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Hutcherson hit this season.
