Basketball Recap: New Lisbon Takes a Loss

New Lisbon lost against Assumption last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Lisbon Rockets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-48 to the Assumption Royals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Assumption, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-15.

New Lisbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Assumption, they will face off against Columbus Catholic on Friday. Columbus Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Assumption likes a good challenge.
