Basketball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast lost against Seminole back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southeast Seminoles lost 62-39 to the Seminole Warhawks. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seminole was led to victory by Riley Turknett and Emily Fekollari. Turknett almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals, while Fekollari posted 18 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Santore, who put up 12 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Seminole, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Southeast and Tournament Opponent will round out the year against one another at on Monday. As for Seminole, they will take on Clearwater Central Catholic in a tournament on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Emme Dalhoff and Turknett.
