Mariyah Powell won't forget Wednesday's contest any time soon: she posted double-digit boards for the first time in her career. She had two points and ten rebounds, but sadly Northwest Halifax still had to take a 68-48 loss at the hands of North Edgecombe. We think that's the best game she's posted since November 17th, when she put up a point and three steals.

Coming up, Powell and Northwest Halifax will challenge Rocky Mount Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
