Soccer Game Preview: Manitou Springs vs. Atlas Preparatory School

The Manitou Springs Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Manitou Springs' offense. They fell 2-0 to Lamar on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Atlas Preparatory School kept a clean sheet against Woodland Park on Thursday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The result kept Atlas Preparatory School happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 30th.

Manitou Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Atlas Preparatory School, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2-3.

Manitou Springs took their win against Atlas Preparatory School when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
