Basketball Recap: Tempe Falls Despite Big Games from Maxiel Joslin and Tylann Hendrix Meadows

Tempe lost against Shadow Ridge back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buffaloes fell 60-54 to the Stallions.

Tylann Hendrix Meadows and Maxiel Joslin certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hendrix Meadows posted 16 points, while Joslin had 16 points and six rebounds. Hendrix Meadows has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Deryke Tucker, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 23 boards.

Tempe's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Tempe will challenge Shadow Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shadow Ridge, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Browne at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
