Soccer Recap: Round Rock Westwood Extends Winning Streak to Three

Round Rock Westwood waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Vista Ridge Rangers. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Rangers are ranked 184th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Round Rock Westwood pushed their record up to 16-3-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Vista Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8-3 record this season.

Round Rock Westwood will face off against Dripping Springs at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st. Vista Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
