Volleyball Recap: Westfall Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Westfall unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the West Cowboys by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

West was led to victory by Brangly Sanchez and Maxwell Scott. Sanchez had eight aces and six digs, while Scott had nine kills and one block.

Westfall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hillsboro Christian Academy on the 20th. As for West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Independence on the 18th.
