Baseball Recap: Caldera Takes a Loss

Caldera made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mountain View, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Caldera fell just short of Mountain View by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Caldera has suffered since March 28th.

Caldera has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldera will welcome Redmond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldera are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will host Ridgeview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
