After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cerritos, Pioneer was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Artesia Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Pioneer was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-17.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Artesia, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pioneer is set to take on their familiar foe Glenn at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Artesia will square off against rival Oxford Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
