League recap: Silver Creek extends winning streak with victory over Holy Family

3A Tri-Valley recap Sept. 26, 2012

Silver Creek extended the longest winning streak in 3A Tri-Valley this week by beating Holy Family, 28-17. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Berthoud led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Denver North. Caleb Price ran for 225 yards in the win.

Northridge's dynamic duo of Robert Fulton and Michael Graff proved tough for Centaurus to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Fulton threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns and Graff had 96 yards receiving. Blake Karlin helped Northridge's passing attack out by catching six balls for 40 yards.

Ryan Markham made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Spartans defeated the Vikings. The defensive lineman pulled down one interception.

The Grizzlies' Fulton and Graff have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Fulton has thrown for 1159 yards this season, while Graff, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 22 catches for 364 yards. Logan Anderson from Mead leads the league in rushing with 489 yards.
