Monroe never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mohawk Mustangs as they made off with a 20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Monroe pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Mohawk, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Monroe will head out to square off against Crosshill Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
