South Lafourche had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. The Tarpons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Maddie Vega and Rylie Guidry did most of the damage at the plate: Vega went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs, while Guidry got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
