Walkertown typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday West Stokes proved too difficult a challenge. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolfpack a 5-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

West Stokes' victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Walkertown, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Stokes will take on McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walkertown, they will challenge Greater Vision Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
