Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Lloyd Memorial back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Holy Cross Indians took a hard 64-48 fall against the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lloyd Memorial, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Holy Cross will head out to face off against Newport at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Newport's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. Lloyd Memorial has already played their next game (against Ludlow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
