Softball Recap: Elizabethtown Takes a Loss

Elizabethtown was the 11-1 winner over Larue County when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Wednesday.

Elizabethtown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Swift, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Elizabethtown's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Larue County, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Elizabethtown will challenge North Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Larue County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
