Baseball Recap: Walnut Ridge Takes a Loss

Walnut Ridge fell victim to Central and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Walnut Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Walnut Ridge will take on Athens in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Central, they will head out to face off against Normal Community at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
