Volleyball Recap: Franklin Admirals vs. Summit Spartans
Franklin was the 3-1 winner over Summit when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Franklin Admirals fell just short of the Summit Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
Franklin took Summit into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-8.
Franklin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season. As for Summit, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-16.
