Soccer Recap: First Presbyterian Day Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, First Presbyterian Day couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against St. Anne-Pacelli on Thursday, falling 5-2. First Presbyterian Day was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Anne-Pacelli apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

The loss snapped First Presbyterian Day's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-2 record. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2-1.

First Presbyterian Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will challenge Brookstone on Tuesday. Brookstone will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Anne-Pacelli surely won't give up without a fight.
