Softball Recap: Lemont Lemont HS vs. Karns Beavers

After flying high against Clinton on Wednesday, Lemont came back down to earth. The Lemont HS fell just short of the Karns Beavers by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday.

Mila Mardjetko was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Natalie Pacyga was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Claire Podrebarac also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
