Ohio North-South Classic adds to remarkable Super Bowl run

Sunday is the 51st rendition of the NFL's Super Bowl. Question: How many Super Bowls have had at least one Ohio HS North-South Classic alumnus in them? The answer is shocking. The nation's longest-running high school all-star game, which will be contested for the 72nd time in April, has produced astonishing results on the sports grandest stage.

When the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons kickoff Super Bowl LI it will mark the 48th time that at least one Ohio North-South Classic veteran has occupied a roster spot in the Super Bowl.

The only three Super Bowls with no Ohio North-South Classic alumni? II, XXXII and XLIX.
