Baseball Recap: Moore County Comes Up Short

Moore County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Eagleville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 on Tuesday.

Braylynn Hill was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Moore County's record is now 8-12-1. As for Eagleville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Moore County will welcome Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Moore County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eagleville, they will head out to square off against Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
