Basketball Recap: Falls Church Comes Up Short

Falls Church was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. The contest between them and the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials didn't end well, with the Falls Church Jaguars falling 62-45. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 65-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Falls Church's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Falls Church will challenge Annandale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-50 victory against Mount Vernon on the 22nd.
