Volleyball Recap: Foxfire Comes Up Short

Foxfire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Oakstone Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Oakstone Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6, 25-11.

Foxfire's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oakstone Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foxfire will square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakstone Academy, they will face off against Ohio School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
