Softball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shepherd can now relate to. They came up short against the Escanaba Eskymos on Saturday, falling 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bluejays have suffered since May 7th.

This is the second loss in a row for Shepherd and nudges their season record down to 20-13. As for Escanaba, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-3.

Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escanaba, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Gaylord on the 7th.
