Basketball Recap: Mountain Empire Comes Up Short

Mountain Empire lost against High Tech NC last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mountain Empire Redhawks lost 55-33 to the High Tech NC Raptor. The Redhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Mountain Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for High Tech NC, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Mountain Empire wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-31 loss against Gompers Prep Academy on the 4th. High Tech NC has also already played their next contest, a 61-34 win against Monarch on the 4th.
