Highland Tech had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Cherryville Ironmen by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Madie Chapman paced Highland Tech's offense, picking up 17 kills. Chapman got some help from Carsyn Redmond and her 22 assists. Lilly Coletta controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Cherryville still got an impressive performance from Camryn Shirley, who had 29 digs and three aces. Shirley has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Highland Tech's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Cherryville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Highland Tech has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Burns on the 1st. As for Cherryville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Stuart W. Cramer on the 1st.
